Short version: puzzles are made on your device and the words you type are not sent to us.

What happens in your browser

The word search maker and answer key run in JavaScript on your own device. Your settings, and your own words if you type any, are kept in the page address (the share link) so you can bookmark or share them. We do not use cookies or local storage for the maker.

Server logs

Like any website, our hosting provider receives standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) when your browser loads a page. Because your settings live in the page address, a page request can include them. These logs are used for security and reliability.

Advertising

The site does not show ads today. If ads are added later, the ad provider may use cookies or similar technology to show and measure ads, and this page will be updated before that happens, including how to opt out and, where required, a consent choice.

Children

The kids puzzles are meant to be printed by a parent or teacher. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
