Holiday words for school, home and parties
The Christmas list mixes Santa and the North Pole (sleigh, reindeer, elf), decorations (tinsel, wreath, ornament), winter fun (sledding, mittens, snowflake) and the nativity (manger, angel, star).
Ideas for December
- Advent fun: press “New puzzle” for a different grid each day of December.
- Classroom party: print one puzzle per student; the answer key on page 2 makes checking quick.
- Stocking stuffer: staple a few Hard 20×20 puzzles into a mini puzzle book for adults.
- Family names: make a personal puzzle with relatives’ names and inside jokes using “Your own words”.
Choosing a level
Easy keeps every word reading left to right or top to bottom. Medium adds diagonals. Hard adds backwards words in all eight directions, which slows down even confident solvers.
